One simple search for tour and activity on Viator, for example, in Italy between August 1 - 8, 2024 returned a list of 24,271 experiences . A search for live events in San Francisco for the July 4 week-end on Ticketmaster generated a list of 9,896 events The search engines employed by these portals are quite rudimentary and offer just three search criteria - Destination (Location), Price Range and Date Range. We refer to them as 3-Dimensional Search Engines, since they are designed to search in just these three dimensions.
